SUMMARY

The worls is under a contamination and there is an island which is free of it. The clones that are kept to be used for their organs believe that if they are lucky enough to win the lottery, they can go to island. However, clones are being kept for wealthy citizens in case they are ill or need an organ transplation. Thus, the clones are killed for the sake of the wealthy people, but the clones can feel, think and live like real humans. Two clones who discover that they are going to death instead of the beautiful island move on and escape from the Utopian centre to the real world. Their aim is to wake the other clones up, so they can all act against the"lottery".

COMMENTS

The island seems well designed for the clones who are unaware of the hazard they face. It is rather glommy to die if you wonder a better life. However, two clones are ready to fight for their life. This movie is worth to watch.

Think of a life that you are about to die but you survive thanks to clones. The clones are as same as the real ones and they are used just like materials. Is it really fair?

The film has a plot which makes you think whether there could be a life like that in the future. Science could be so developed to produce clones so as to serve human beings. At some scenes, especially when you see that the clones are cut and used like materials you cannot accept this unequaliance. However, they are just clones and even if they feel like humans they are to be killed. This unacceptable issue is bound to be argued.

SUMMARY

Annie who is college graduate student goes to the job interview. However, she cannot define" Who is Annie?". Then , she meets with a child while she is sitting in a central park. She rescues the child from being hit by a man. His mother arrives and invites Annie to be her child's nanny. Annie finds herself in the other side of the city. She is the nanny of a clever and a naughty child. By the way, she has to help Mrs. X. She has to do her shopping, go to the nanny parties and nanny commodities. By the way, she accidentaly falls in love with a boy in the apartment, which is not appropriate for a nanny. She no longer bears to Mrs. X and Mr. X. and cannot keep the secret of the boyfriend. After the dicovery of her boyfriend. she is fired with a little money. She is furious and after returning the house to pack her clothes, she finds the nanny cam and gives a long speech. She quits and returns to the study of Antropology. Mrs. X who finds something precious in nanny's speech writes a letter to Annie. She says that she finds the core of her living: her son. She is divorced too.

COMMENTS

In the movie one can find the answer of what should be I am and what is really I am. Annie searches for the answer of the question by the way she desparetely works for Mrs. X. At the end she gives a lesson to the family. She takes her lesson as well: Every lie are to be identified.

After seeing the wealth and greed of Mr.X, you may want to have a marriage like that, but take look inside: the father betrays his wife. The wife discovers that but does nothing. The child is left without the interest, love and care of his family... I do not want a life like that even you have many opportunities.

Bringing up a child has many responsibilities. The family has to share it 50-50. Or else, it could be a disaster to raise a child.

One should discover oneself before it is too late. Thus, one should live it without postponing.

EXPRESSIONS

Annie:In Africa they have the saying, it takes a village to raise a child. But for the tribe of the upper-eastside of Manhattan, it takes just one person. The nanny.

Annie:My desire to be an observer of life was actually keeping me from having one.

SUMMARY

Caroline is a young and a beautiful nurse who has a bad past with her father. Her father was ill and she could not has the chance to take care of him. Thus, she agrees with the job to take care of an elderly man in New Orleans. However, she can see that there is something hidden behind the illness of the man. His wife keeps something in the attic and she behaves cold. Caroline decides to break the code in the house. She finds a skeleton key of the room in the attic and she discovers hair, blood, spells and bones which are the signs of Hoodoo. The wife says that they are all belong to original owners of the house. Caroline cannot stand long to make Hoodoo as the old man keeps murmuring something that is related with this room and this Hoodoo thing. However, if Caroline believes what she does, it will be real.

COMMENTS

I got horrified to see the end of the film as it was surprising. At first, you get little bit anxious to see what is in the attic. By the way, the old man rises the tension and you want Caroline to discover that spell. However, things will not get better for Caroline.

Do you believe in spell? Especially, after watching this movie you will not wish to see an African because you may suppose it is a magician.

This movie claims that what you believe may become real if you believe it, even it is not real originally.

SUMMARY

There are several charachters that has sefvarl stories happen in two days in L.A. A mother who is drug addicted has police officer son and a son who is missing. Two car thief and the white district attorney and his pampered wife. A racist cop who disgusts his more idealistic partner. A director who has problems with his wife and has a fight with the racist cop. A locksmith who has a daughter afraid of guns. A shopkeeper who has a gun to protect his shop from the thieves. These lives are connected with each other and has common points.

COMMENTS

This film shows the inequality in America especially the racists scenes make the viewers take a deep breath as they will be shocked.

America has many different families and many stories. This flim utilizes this theme as well as it combines stories one by one and twist to one another. Thus, you will see that at the end of every story there is a big concidence of being an American citizen.

This is a film you must watch more than once to start liking it to be honest. The film seems confusing and boring at first but after the plot is undone, you want to watch the scenes again and again. Thus, it really deserves Oscar.

SUMMARY

Jean Baptiste Grenouille, is orphaned in the streets of Paris. In his childhood he does not talk much or play as others, but he has an amazing gift. He can take the smell of flowers and even glass. However, he is sold to a tannery at the age of 13 and surrounded by the foul odors. After he watches the tanner, Grenoullile finds the core of his existence : perfume . He decides to make a perfume of love and passion. Yet, he one by one kills the women in order to find the right fragnance. Eventually, he becomes a murderer and he is wanted. However, he continues his search and kills the girl of a a wealthy father who protects her. He is caught and sentences to death. Now, Grenouille believes that he finds the essence of passion and beauty to catch the attention of his gift. Then, every one believes that he is innocent with scent of the perfume.

COMMENTS

Perfume is adapted from a book, but believe that the film is more thrilling than the book. The viewers fell the fear in every murder scene while the gifted child smeels the corpses and believes that he just find the scent he is seaching for.

Think that you have a gift that controls all your life. It is not possible to stop it and you dicover something new in each step. Would not it be enjoyable?

You are gifted, but you are a murderer. This film captures this theme very well and makes the audience go mad in every murder. One may choose the support him while the other may not.

SUMMARY

A group of friends head to Texas for a concert. They pick up a hitchhiker who is weird and warns them not to go there and suddenly shoots herself. They get shocked and terrified. They decide to find the cherriff of the town. They meet with strange locals by the way. One by one they are took by a misterious man with a crayz face. They realize that they are in a mortal danger and they have to leave the town. However, one of them can escape from the man and from the home of cannibals. She takes the baby, gets into a car and goes.

COMMENTS

Never pick up a hitchiker might say a lot about the flim. At first you feel nothing surious but then you are kept by the story.

Texas chainsaw massacre is real and you cannot bear to see that young adults die in terrible ways. Of course. there is a psycho behind and he rather chooses to make masks to him than have them burried.

This film moves the blood and gets one to the top when it appears that the town is full of insane people. When I first saw the face of the demented man I could not drawback my screams. It is full of fear. Throughout the story, you discover not just fear but how friendships are dealt in times of death.

SUMMARY

It is the year of 1250 B.C Bronze age. Two emerging nations has a conflict beacause of Paris who persuades Helen, Queen of Sparta, to come to Troy. Helen has an husband Menelaus and he is sure that he will take Helen back even if it causes many battles and deaths. He asks his brother Agamennom who seeks for power for help to invade Troy. Then, they set of with 1.000 ships which has 50.000 soldiers to Troy. With the help of Achielle, who is a legendary Greek warrior, they defeat never before defeated Trojans even there is a strong Trojan warrior Hektor. The fake appears and Paris during the battle, shoots Achielle in his ankle. Achielle dies Helen and Paris run away and Troy is defeated.

COMMENTS

In the Bronze Age, there are many myths and fates that governs nations. Troy is one of them which defines the most hateful battles. Also, in the battles there are betrayals, fear, love and honour which watchers can learn a lot.

Troy is not just a love story but the story of courage and passion. Two nations, two man (Hektor and Achielle) and two woman struggles to break their fates. Thus, Troy should not be missed.

SUMMARY

John Nash is keen on solving the most diffucult math problems. However, he has imaginary friends throughout his school life. He suffers a lot among his friends as he cannot leave his imaginary friends. After graduating from the university, he turns to teaching. He meets with Alicia who is a student of him. Alicia is very beautiful and clever at solving problems. They get married and they have a son. Yet, Nash's problems continue. He has to break Soviet codes which the government requires. He is in a terrible conflict now. His world turns upside down when he discovers that he forgets to take his baby boy from the bath. Alicia sees what he has done so far. He has gone to the forest in which he has a station that he communicates with the government. He has left many letters to the agency too. Alicia is helpless through this and she persuades him to have proffesional help. John Nash has a treatment and he is able to attend university and solve math problems. He is honourable in the university and for his studies he takes Nobel Prize. This is when his friends leave him.

COMMENTS

John Nash cannot tell the truth from dellusion. That is where the story begins. He is higly intelligent and seems normal. You first believe that Soviet codes, missions and letters are real. However, they are just a part of schizophrenia that Nash suffers. It is unbeliveable that he inspite of this fact can solve math problems and teach at the college. This is an amazing story to learn.

The insanity breaks through John Nash while the watchers try to identify what is real and what is not. This story holds you back and think a while about the life.

EXPRESSIONS

Hansen: You scared?
Nash:(sarcastically) Terrified. Mortified. Petrified. Stupefied... by you.

Nash: Classes will dull your mind, destroy the potential for authentic creativity.

Charles: Nothing ever for sure, John. That is the only sure thing I do know.

Charles: Her husband was too drunk to know he was too drunk to drive.

harry potter and the order of the phoenix

SUMMARY

It is another year for Harry at Hogwarts and Harry is busy with the sues and articles that he is insane and guilty of doing withcraft outside the school. Same blamings is valid for Prof. Dumbledore. By the way, Harry tries to prove that Lord Voldemort returns. However, there is Prof. Dolores Jane Umbridge who is sent by the ministry to be on alert for Harry and Dumbledore. Things get worse when Dolores get in the place of Dumbledore. Harry and his friends decide to study and learn the crafts themselves instaed of learning from Dolores who does not teach anything. At the end Voldemort appears but he cannot stand in front of the real friendship and the loyalty, which is Harry Potter.

COMMENTS

Compared with the other series it is more fantastic and magical. One is not just follow the story but can cry especially when the film goes to the end, Sirius Black dies. You cannot prevent the tears that fall from your eyes, yes it is dramatic.

If you have not seen the pre series of the film, start with this one . This really summarizes all the other series. Its affect is wonderful and shooting. After watching, you wish you were Harry Potter, as he is amazing and brave.

SUMMARY

Elizabeth Swann, Will Turner and Captain Barbossa go to Singapore to rescue Captain Jack Sparrow from the land of the dead. After many deals and betrayals they rescue him but there is a big problem: Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckeet. Their next move is to summon the nine pirate captains to gather in the Brethen court with intention to release Calypso from her human body to use her towards Davy Jones and Lord Cutler Beckeet. However, Calypso is not useful and releasing her does not make sense. Then, they fight endlessy to their foes, yet Will Turner is killed. They leave the ship and return to world but they miss Will. Meanwhile, Will returns to life by the heart of the ex captain and now he is the captain of his ship. He meets Elizabeth and Barbossa.

COMMENTS

It is full of sea, love and courage. Also, there are lots of fun and clever dialogs in it. You go into a diffrerent world, into the world of pirates, magicians, and black sides of the sea. As you move on, you understand that once you get in, the exit is very far away.

This film is tricky, quiet enjoyable and funny. Sometimes horrifying, breath taking...To say, you will definetly remember the scenes.

You cannot think that it is real, but it is.

This is like a cat and mouse story which ends as it never starts. Very suprising, and humiliating. Viewers are on alert at every scene. Yes, it gives that run and run feeling. You should watch for its terrifying scenes.

This film is actually composed of ten different stories about the loves' ins and outs.It really makes audience surprised and thoughtful with its stories.The watcher sees the plot is wonderfully set according to the lives of people.One who is interested in romantic comedies should not miss this romantic comedy.
